Helene Ring Teppan was born in the Norwegian countryside, but has for the last 17 years mostly called Oslo home, and is now staying put.

Helene grew up learning a whole range of crafts techniques, has a background with music and theatre and holds a masters degree in cultural history among with other studies in arts and culture.
